2024 Call for Proposals - The FSM is awarding CHF 150,000 in 2024 for a research project dealing with exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields or biological effects of mobile radio on humans, fauna and/or flora.
We are looking for research projects that are specifically dedicated to frequencies in the 3 to 30 GHz range, which use applications such as 5G, 6G and communication services via satellites such as Starlink and the like.

Personnel Changes in the FSM Foundation Board
Prof. Dr. Nicole Probst-Hensch (Swiss Tropical Health Institute) and Matthias Forster (Sunrise) have been elected to the Foundation Board, as successors to Prof. em. Dr. Brigitta Danuser and Jürg Studerus.
Personnel Changes in the FSM Scientific Committee
Prof. Dr. Reto Huber (Children's Hospital Zurich) and Dr. Jasmin Smajic (IEF/ETH Zurich) have been elected as new members of the FSM Scientific Committee. They replace Prof. em. Dr. Peter Achermann and Dr. Anke Huss, who have resigned.
The Scientific Committee has appointed Prof. Dr. Michael Siegrist (ETH Zurich) to replace the leaving Chairman Peter Achermann.
FKH: New supporter for FSM
We are very pleased that we were able to win the High Voltage Testing and Engineering Commission (FKH) as a new sponsor for the Research Foundation. By taking over the sponsorship, the FKH underlines the idealistic support of the FSM and its foundation goals.
