Partial findings from the NTP cell phone study published

First results from the large US-funded animal-study about the potential cancerogenicity of cell phone radiation have been released.

The partial findings of this National Toxicology Program study show low incidences of malignant gliomas in the brain and schwannomas of the heart of male rats exposed to radiofrequency signals (GSM, CDMA). The neoplasms are considered likely the result of the exposure. The FSM will comment on the published report in due course.
