In its 50th anniversary year, the Swiss Telecommunications Association, asut, presented the Swiss Telecommunication Award for the second time since 2017. This went to Dr. Gregor Dürrenberger, who headed the FSM until his retirement in 2021. He received this award for his services in establishing and developing the FSM at ETH Zurich, his tireless efforts to promote excellent research in this field and for the transfer of knowledge from academic research to the public, politics, administration and the media.
He is thus being honored for his many years of personal commitment, which has contributed to Switzerland having one of the best mobile communications infrastructures in the world today.
The FSM is very happy about this award and congratulates Gregor Dürrenberger warmly!
