Sponsors & Supporters

An involvement in the Research Foundation clearly shows that a company takes the clarification of the effects of non-ionising radiation into account and takes its responsibilities towards society, customers, employees and also within the entire sector seriously.

Would you like to support our work? We look forward to hearing from you!

We differentiate between four different types of sponsor:

Founders provided the initial capital of the Foundation. They are listed in the Deeds of the Foundation and have a seat in the Foundation Board. The five founders of the FSM are: ETH Zurich, Swisscom, Salt, Sunrise, 3G Mobile (liquidated in 2011).

Our Sponsors support the FSM with annual donations that allow for both the management of the Foundation and research funding. The sponsors are represented in the Foundation Board with one delegate out of seven. The current FSM-Sponsors are: Swisscom, Swissgrid, Sunrise, Cellnex, Ericsson and Huawei.

Supporters back the Foundation non-materially or pay a regular amount towards the targeted funding of a specific activity, such as the organisation of the Science Brunches. Supporters are represented by the NGO, the federal authority or the industrial members of the Foundation Board,
