Science Brunches

In order to offer a platform for the discussion of current issues related to electromagnetic fields to the interested public, we have developed the event series "Science Brunch".

The Science Brunches take place twice a year. Personal invitations are sent out. The invitation distribution list is broad and addresses representatives from politics, authorities, economy, civil society as well as science. Interested parties can contact us at any time. In order to promote exchange, the number of participants is limited to 50. As a rule, in addition to an introductory scientific presentation by a renowned researcher, three keynote speeches are given by prominent representatives from politics, public authorities, civil society or business. Between the presentations, we always reserve time for table discussions to allow participants to exchange ideas among themselves.

The next Science Brunch on "Environmental pollution from electromagnetic fields, air pollutants, noise, chemicals: parallels and differences?" will take place on Wednesday, November 06, 2024.

Workshops

We organize workshops on selected, current topics. They are aimed at a target audience, such as representatives of the authorities or the media, and are designed as continuing education events. With the participation of top speakers, we present, for example, new technical developments or address how to deal with risks.

Conferences

In order to make ongoing or completed FSM-funded research more visible within the research community, we organize conferences or partial events at scientific events at irregular intervals.
